About Montauk-Monster.com

Hi, I’m Nicky Papers. I’m the founder of Montauk-Monster.com. I’ve lived in Suffolk County, NY my entire life. The reason why I’m dedicating my time to provide the world with information on the Montauk Monster is because I was vacationing in Montauk with friends during the week that the beast was discovered. Montauk is a wonderful town full of great restaurants, fishing, and surf. While staying at the Ronjo Motel, a guest informed me that a “weird creature” washed up on shore. He directed me to where it was located on the beach where I saw the beast up close.

Upon first glimpse, it looked like a dead dog. Looking closer, it resembled something that I’ve never seen before. The creature was decomposing in the sun as there was a slight stench in the air.

Honestly, I didn’t think too much of it the day I saw it. I had a brief conversation with my waitress that night at Gosman’s Dock. She also had heard the story from one of the bus boys working there.

Little did I know that what I saw that day would be on the news, be the topic of dinner conversations, and become an internet sensation. Since I saw it up close and personal, I will try my best to uncover the truth about the “Montauk-Monster”. Please check back frequently as the discovery continues.

Warm regards and best wishes,

Nicky Papers

  3. Sofia Antonia Milone says:

All dead things look monstrous and barely reconisable when they’ve been in the water for a long time. Even humans.

There is no truth beyond that here. They tell you it’s just a raccoon/dog/whatever because it is. Basically study of the pictures, let alone the skeleton proves this.

  4. Taylor Reints says:

The Montauk Monster is a decomposing bulldog or raccoon, that’s all…

  5. KylerMA says:

Ok, I get on the sight for about 3 minutes and I’m hating whoever is posting all this. Its one thing if it really is a “Monster”. But putting pictures of an otter on here and saying “We have no Idea what it is.” It ruins what is real. Put some effort in to it. A 5 year old can tell me what an otter looks like jeez.

  6. tim says:

    when was it found

  7. lady gaga the second says:

that thing is ugly i think its a raccoon that stayed in the water to long and the fur came off and the moth bone formed in to a beak

  8. lady gaga the second says:

that thing is ugly they look like raccoons that stayed in water to long and they lost all their fur and their bone formed into a beak

  9. Shareena Michelle Lee says:

you should tell them to give the creature to a scientist to research the pigment, the blood, dna to find out exactly how it was born and what possibilites mabey caused it to look like that. Just to keep the people safe from harm and to close down the beaches because all three washed up on shore dead and its a really big and dangerous discovery

being you’re from long island, i’m sure you’ve heard of “camp hero” out in montauk? if not, take a look at the history and even the “alleged” experiments that went on there and supposedly STILL go on there. (http://www.philadelphia-experiment.com/Camp_Hero_Fort_Montauk.htm). i’m from mid-long island and no i’m not one of those crazy conspiracy-theorists, but what the military and scientists were capable of back in the 40′s (phoenix project, for one) makes it very likely that something along gene mutations would be a piece of cake today. after the base closed down, the government gave the property rights to NY state to turn it into a park, but there was one strange condition: the state now owned the surface, but were ABSOLUTELY NOT allowed to dig anywhere underneath the surface. also, from down on the beach you can see wires going in and out of the bluffs. maybe i, along with many others, are jumping to conclusions, but last time i checked, 2+2=4.

camp hero: known for top secret military base, mind control experiments, quantum physic experiments, etc etc.
montauk monster: seemingly mutated beast never before seen by the human eye, looks like a cross between multiple species, just a completely out of the ordinary animal that no one important really seems to be paying attention to.

is it just me, or is this all too coincidental? all in all, if i had to guess, i’d think that this montauk monster was absolutely an experiment, possibly gone wrong and more possibly thrown away by the supposed still-active camp hero.

    feedback?

Me nd my mother were camping out at Hither Hills State park. One late night while the rest of my family lay asleep inside the tent, Me and my mother were wide awake when we saw the shadow of what appeared to be some sort of creature with sharp teeth and claws. I Was 5 years old at the time but i was able to conjure up the image of a bobcat. My mother agreed with me but when we asked the State Rangers and other natives of Montauk, they both assured us that there were no bobcats anywhere around Montauk. The most memorable part of the experience was the noise the creature made and the way it arched its back when it hissed, showing off its sharp teeth. we both were able to clearly see an outline of the teeth on our tent wall and were extremley afraid. After seeing the propoganda of this “Montauk Monster” I believe the first one found could have been the very creature that still shakes my memories of that day.

  32. Sam says:

I think the next time someone takes these pictures, they should put a dollar next to the body so someone can get an idea of what the size is. In any case it does look like a decomposing raccoon.

  33. Megan says:

I think that it is kind of cute. Call me weird, but I LIKE HIM. I think we should name him. How about LEVIATHAN. That’s a good name, I like it.
AND THUS HE SHALL BE KNOWN AS……. LEVIATHAN–FACE!!!

  34. sharon says:

i think its odd that these creature would just show up out of no where around the same time and no one knows were they came from also the scientist need to study these creatures and try to see what type of habitat they lived in.

also if these creatures could be from space then i think its odd that nobody saw them come to earth im just waiting to know what these creatures are and where they came from

  35. irene rivera says:

what are they? where do they come from?

  36. Ryan Sweeney says:

They figured it out it was a raccoon.

  37. Vana h says:

Dang I never new of this till my hubby told me

  38. Teresa Harn says:

According to Dr. Darren Naish, a zoologist at the University of Portmouth (UK), as interviewed on the “Wild Case Files,” a NatGeo network TV show, this carcass “is a relatively mundane familiar animal that’s really quite common on the eastern coast of the US. It is a decomposing RACCOON!”

  39. michael says:

it was found to be a decomposing raccoon. i wish it was a new species, but sadly its a raccoon.

  40. jack says:

i say the creature is a tapir if you look at the skeleton they look fairly similar, though the long fingers, and teeth.

  41. Smart Guy says:

does anyone think this is just a dead sea turtle with no shell?

  42. crystal says:

  43. Megan says:

hi, ok so i saw the “montauk monster on tv when it was aired.. and wow thats one hell of a animal .. i do believe it can be from plum island, its possible they tried to mix genes from 2 dif types of animals to create a new species and it went wrong and they just discarded it. what u want to no is why is there no follow up on what the animal is and why is it all being covered up? some thing is going on here

  44. cora says:

Apairentley it is a dead dog.Everybody knows that, right?

    cora

    9 years old

    smartest kid on earth,du

  45. Jim Hodges says:

As much as I would like to believe in something like the Montauk Monster; I can more easily believe it is some poor, unfortunate, tortured being from Plum Island.

  46. Louis Turco says:

I assure you this is not the Montauk Monster. Read about the Montauk Project and learn what the real monster is all about. While out there go to Camp Hero near the Radar Antenna and see how you feel.

  47. Bryan says:

This monster is obviously of the nearby animal testing center Plum island. Not any monster from the depths of the ocean. If it happens more than once in that exact area including an unidentified human washed up containing elongated fingers and 5 holes drilled in it’s skull, I think it’s more than some depths of the ocean animal. Plum island research center

  48. Alex says:

Nuno, you’re a dumbass, it obviously isn’t something that lives in the ocean.

Only one of these “montauk-monster” pictures even looks like a new species. It is hard to identify that one picture, but the rest, i’m 100% sure are dead dogs. You can see the distinct canine snout. None of these pictures look like the same kind of animal.

No one is going to believe in a new species if 3/4 of the pictures of it can easily be identified as a dead dog.

  49. abby santos says:

hey i was wondering if any scientist figured out what it was? can you let meknow by sending it to my email above. thanks…ur biggest fan…:)

  50. Nuno says:

I think this creature is a creature of the depths of the oceans, has lately been instances of animals of the depths, like that pre historic shark that was discovered in Japan, this shark lives porfundesas 6000 meters in the oceans, who knows what monster you speak can be a pre historic creature …

From: A big fan of yours:)

Continues, you’ll discover the whole truth;)
