The species of the Montauk Monster is still undetermined because a formal autopsy has never been conducted. Additionally, the individual carcasses discovered have not been preserved. (The Clapsaddle Carcass was taken by authorities, however lab results were never disclosed.)
Many people have expressed their feelings that the police should be called immediately. It’s not always that simple as the individuals who’ve discovered “beastie” are unsure who to call as they think they may be holding an animal of tremendous value.
Recently, in Texas the remains of what appears to be a chupacabra have been found. The unidentified carcass was taken to a local taxidermy school where it was frozen and preserved. The gentleman who found the dead animal was really thinking when he removed it from the ground. What has been determined is the animal was not native to Texas in the area where it was discovered.
What does this mean for the Montauk Monster? Should another carcass be found on the shores of Long Island it should be removed and brought to a taxidermist immediately. That certainly is a feasible way in getting to the bottom of recent discoveries and the mystery behind them.
Below is a clip from CNN indicating the proper procedure for handling unidentified animals. Find out who your local taxidermist is and have their contact information handy should you stumble upon a Montauk Monster!

Maybe you should try seeing both sides of this issue instead of assuming that yours is the only valid opinion. Id still read it, I like the way you write. But I can see some people getting upset
chupracabra is a new species of dog. watch facted or faked. they had a woman on there that had a dead on in her freezer and let them take a sample to the lab and its a unknown species. but inbetween a dog and a wolf. its not fake at all and it is found in mexico and has been migrating other places like texas.
I just watched a show with a taxadermed “chupacabra” and the woman said it was genetically tested, and apparently it was a cross with some kind of extinct wolf and somethin somethin…. my memory is terrible =( . But it’s fangs were long, and had skin in unnecessary areas. Uhm. As a side note, what the hell are bats descended from and when did a mammal get the ability to suck some damn blood (vampire bat) . Perhaps there is an earlier… bigger… version? not necessarily this.
… Just saying =D
Hi my family member! I wish to say that this article is amazing, nice written and come with approximately all significant infos. I¡¦d like to see extra posts like this .
thats a freaking dog!
it is a freaking dead dog. what dont you people get about that!
Its a Mexican hairless dog…and Texas is pretty close to Mexico…why in the world are these unidentified bodies immediately a monster until proven dog when these bodies are clearly species of canine?? People are crazy and would rather have a conspiracy theory explanation when the scientific one just won’t do. I thought this site was about shedding light on this kind of stuff and not perpetuating ignorance.

WHERE THE HELL YOU SEE HOOFS?!
There are paws. I study anatomie and… there are paws.
And maybe its a half breed. Who knows. But I think too its just a dog.
QOUTED
“This looks to me like a breed of hairless dog. The breed is called Xoloitzcuintle”
actually a typical Xoloitzcuintle doesnt have fangs like that of the Chupacabra-like animal and probably not like that tails. Well for me its actually like a half dog half kangaroo with mysterious rat-like tails. and it got hoofs too
This looks to me like a breed of hairless dog. The breed is called Xoloitzcuintle, and it’s highly possible that it was someone’s pet which either ran away from home or was abandoned in the area. This carcass looks exactly like a Xoloitzcuintle to me, not a chupacabra in the slightest. If the chupacabra does exist, I don’t know why it would have the same physical structure as a dog; the majority of reports I’ve read about the chupacabra describe it as a bipedal creature, not a quadruped as is seen here. I feel sorry for the poor dog that they killed, but I’m afraid that it’s not a chupacabra.
